Internet Censorship

Spotted this over at the Register and had a quick look through the rather long report (.pdf). Whilst Karlin Lillington has written plenty on this issue in the past I haven't seen anything much being written about these problems in the Irish media (or anywhere else for that matter outside of the obvious places).

I know the net is good at adapting around censorship but with tracking becoming so commonplace and legislation repeatedly encroaching on what was/is a haven for free speech where might the net be going in the next few years?
