    Ask the 'Baghdad blogger'
Click here to post your question on BBC website

You can put your questions to 'Salam Pax' in a LIVE interactive forum on Friday, 19 September at 1430GMT/1530BST.

Over the past year, a Baghdad man has been keeping an internet diary on what everyday life is like for people in Baghdad.
"Salam Pax" - his real name has never been revealed - spent months writing an often bleakly humorous weblog which detailed the fears and hardships of Iraqi citizens as they prepared for the inevitable conflict.

The diary began as a way for the 29-year-old architectural student to keep in touch with his friend Raed in Jordan but it picked up a huge audience around the world.

The entries have now been compiled into a book which his publishers hope will provide an alternative voice from the Iraqi war.

Were you one of those who responded to the Baghdad blogger's site?

What was life like during the conflict?

He also got a full page feature on The Irish Examiner,(17.09.2003}.

Okay, I can admit that I only recently started reading 'Blogs' because of 'Boards.ie knows how to get people talking.' by Karlin Lillington.

But going out on the Blog Trail and finding other Blogs to read has turn up some interesting reading. I was mainly at first looking for good Irish blogs for my links page, to feature my favourite blog of the month. And then wondering should I start my own, blog or journal.

Well I took the plung. The inspiration for which came from the 'Faith? ' thread..

The basis on which I was try to answer one of my own statements:
At some point in peoples lives, they will or allready questioned their belief system. What sets them out on their path of discovery can vary.

So why would I buy the book if I've already read what's in it?

Pity he doesn't post so much anymore. Too busy writing for profit I guess.

Anyway good luck to him. He done a good job.
