psu compatibility

    i was lookin for a new psu for my dimension 4550. ive been told that not all psu's will fit in dells. i found this site but dont know if the psu's here will fit.

    if none of these will fit can some1 give me some info on where i can get a psu (400w or above) to fit my dell? thanks

    one other problem is that Dell have used their own configuration of PSU in the past, so if you were to put in a standard one, you could destroy your mobo and other stuff.
    You might want to phone Dells help line and ask if the PSU is thier proprietry one, or a standard one.
