Anybody else impressed with this? Last nights was class. It had washed-up actor Joe Penny (Jake and the fat man) playing a washed up actor!
My favorite charactor is the assistant DA though, great character. I reckon the guy playing him is one to watch in the future.

I thought last week - with Fearless leaping off a rooftop firing submachine guns - was absolutely dreadful. I wanted to throw a brick through the TV when I saw it. Woeful scripting and weak acting.

Having said that I've liked other episodes. The premise and style is great but the actual storylines are a bit poor (i.e. if they were told in the typical narrative fashion, they'd seem appalling). The acting is just alright but, I gotta also admit I love the DA (McNorris to give him a name). He's full of fire and self-vindication. He steals any scenes that he's in.

It's got a second season but the ratings for season one were wonky so don't hold your breath on it being here for the longhaul. It's still a better show than "CSI: Miami" however. The cast are generally (particulary Horatio aka David Caruso) so irritating that I want a cross-over special with "C.S.I.: Crime Scene Investigations" whereby the Las Vegas team get to unravel how the Miami team were butchered...

Would you believe last weeks was the only one I've missed? I don't mind as much now! :D

I agree with you that it'll hardly get past a second series. It's not exactly to everyones taste I'd imagine, a little too much emotion and sentiment for a cop show maybe. Still, it keeps me glued, for now at least.
