New Series From Family Guy Creater.

    Seth McFarlane, creater of brilliant comedy Family Guy has been given the go ahead by Fox to make a new series. Entitled American Dad, it's apparently modeled on an All in the Family type 'clan', lead by a right leaning dad employed by the CIA.

    What the heck is All in the Family? No idea when this is out, but any thing I can find out i'll post here. God, I hope it's a second coming, cause tv is sorely lacking in animated comedy at the moment thanks to the ending of both Futurama and Family Guy.

    Animation from what I can gather. And you'd have to ask the man himself why he's doin a new series entirely rather than another series of Family Guy. Prolly couldn't get them to let up on their cancelling of it. Also he may feel he's done enough with that one, and want's to do something new, rather than drag it out a la Simpson's.

    Sounds like live action to me.

    Not sure why, it just gives off that impression.

    All in the Family was a series made in the seventies about a guy called Archie Bunker (a bigotted mindless old fool) and his somewhat more liberal-minded family. Ran for years. It's got quite a bit of potential if McFarlane makes a series like it.

    According to an interview in www.cinescape.com , Seth Mc farlane thinks there is a huge chance that they will make a family guy movie that would release directly to dvd.

    Family Guy was cancelled because sponsors didn't want to advertise their products in between such a contraversial programme or something like that.

    Sorry if anyone already answered these questions. I just read the first 2 posts...
