Hi, I've a few books for sale over on the For Sale board, but not getting much interest.

Does anyone know of any shops in Dublin that buy 2nd hand college books, are there any in the Colleges (e.g UCD / TCD...).

    Thanks,
    BrianG

yeah, the UCD student's union book shop (in the student centre) buy and sell 2nd hand books. but, if it's something they have loads of, they may not take it.

other than that, there's taney books in dundrum village (near enough to ucd), or chapters in town (capel st???)

chapters tend to give you very very little for college books and then sell them for a lot :(

TCD or UCD student union second hand bookstores would be best as you'll get a lot more for them.Chapters will give you **** all, and you can set your own price on the ones in ucd ,think the SU takes 10% or something like that if you manage to sell them

here you have to sell it for 2/3 of the original price
and you receive 3/4 of that.

so basically you get 1/2 original price if the book is sold.

Don't drag up 6 year old threads ;) Start a new one if you think it warrants a conversation. Thanks, John
