Does anyone know how many PC,s running say Counterstrike online you could get .Using either a 1mb or 2mb ADSL connection. Also would using a 1mb or 2mb cable (cough cough chorus) be better?.I just wondered for arguments sake if you had 15 pc,s connected at one time would it be playable.

Anyone real life storys would be good but cheers.

Cable is slowest as speed is optomistic max. It has contention.

ADSL is what it says on tin. But the writing on the tin is small and complicated!

But note speed is different each way unless SDSL, so 2M may be 512K or 256K the other direction (upload).

May also depend on difference in aera and Esat/Ericom etc.

I know that uplink is slower than downlink on adsl the thing is when playing cs how much is sent and how much is recieved. It wouldnt be so bad if your sending half as much data as you are receiving.
