Anyone notice the ADs over the past couple of nights on Sky One,
encouraging a second subscription (no mention of mirroring, or reduced prices)?

Does anyone have any info on this?

I didn't think it was possible (!) to get a second subsidised Digibox etc, but maybe now..?

It has been possible since June to get a reduced second subscription here. I believe that it is €159 for a box (if you need one), €75 for installation (again if you need it) and the monthly cost was €20 but I believe it may be going down to €15 in October.

Also, If you are interested in Sky+ and on a premium package you could have the option of upgrading your first box to sky+ and reusing the old box in the second room for €15 per month.

Bascially, Once you are on a package of €47.50 upwards and you buy the new sky+ box for €300 and pay the installation charge (€75-€90) you can reuse your original sky box in another room for an additional charge of €15 per month. Sky have done away with the monthly Sky+ charge (was €15) for sky viewers on the premium packages.
