Sky+ in another room

I saw on the other thread that Sky+ will be free after October once you are subscribed to 2 premiums and an extra digibox will be €15 per month. Well this probably sounds stupid but can't I get a Sky+ box and set it up upstairs for free???

Depends on what you mean, are you talking about the hardware, installation or monthly subscription?

sorry, I was talking about the monthly subscription.

Also, If you get it set up where the original box was are you expected to just get rid if the old box?

I think what you are talking about is a second (mirror) subscription which has been discussed at length on other threads.

the sky+ box requires an extra input from the dish/lnb

so unless you already have 2 inputs from the dish/lnb in your sitting room
