Yeah, I loved that film especially the part near the end where he is being fed food since he can't move, the way he opened his mouth cracked me up

i think its quite possibly, the strangest, most gay, retarded film ive evr seen.

Um... Tusky, Clockwork Orange is a book and a film. There's probably a play made too.
The book is fantastic - much more immersive than the film. Anthony Burgess creates this entirely new teenage slang(can't remember the name of it) that's complex and after a few chapters, completly understandable.
The film is also excellent, very true to the bookand just as graphic and horrific. One of Kubrick's greatest films.

i don't really have an opinion on the film...i'd just like to point that out before i say this.

    *ahem*.

you really, really, really, really suck.... (and not in a "gay" or "retarded" way...)
    ..thank you

What did you think of Kubrick's "2001: A Space Odyssey"?

Great film, way before its time, opened my eyes on a few things. And what a range of topics covered, robber, violent crime, rpae, gayness.... (Don't know the politically correct work) Any way great film, and all you other mongs shut up, sit down and analyse it, dont just watch it passively...

    It's a book, a film, a play and a radio play.

And there's probably a cocktail out there somewhere that's named after it...

I prefer the book to the film, but I love the film. As a film I go through phases of liking it and then finding it boring. Sometimes it shocks me and sometimes it doesn't... It's a little uneven.

But as a book it's flawless. The three act, seven chapter a piece structure is brilliant. Most importantly it hasn't aged as badly as the film has.

    But yeah, both kick ass....

The language used in the book is "nadsat".

You could buy the soundtrack off of Amazon

What you're looking for is the Title/Theme from A Clockwork Orange by Walter Carlos.

    And yeah it's great :)

I'd like to register THAT as my vote for the 'agressive smartarse who didn't do his homework and then ended up looking like a prat' category at the end of year awards.

Anyway, C.O. is a great film / book. With regard to the film, everything (from the exagerated performances, to the garish 'futuristic' look of the characters and enviornments) is just spot on!

Brilliant film I think. Never had the fortune as of yet to have read the book. Someone mentioned 2001: A Space Odyssey - brilliant, absolutely brilliant!

I think I'll stick on eyes wide shut this evening...

Oh yeah something I noticed in the film - there's a part when he's walking around in a velvet jacket thing with his cane, around a sort of music shop or arcade.
At the stand where he picks up the two women, there's a soundtrack of 2001 : A Space Odyssey right in the centre of the stand.

Only noticed that last night :)

the book is fantastic, you feel like you've learned a new language by the time your finished reading it, the first chapter is complete jibberish! the second chaper is in plain english, as the story progresses the 'slang' gradually becomes more prominant. the last chapter echos the first, but this time you understand every word!

havent read the book so cant comment but i think the film is very good. its cool how you come away from the movie associating a certain musical piece with violence, just like yer man Alex does.
