    Every away match that celtic play Neil Lennon gets booed. Why is this?

    Its ironic that alot people here think it is ok to boo a Rangers player when they play against Ireland in Lansdowne.....

    I think its pathetic.

    I only saw the second half of the match today so I can't comment too much. Did the booing start before or after he gave the finger to the crowd though?

    He probably gets booed for the same reason the idiots at Ireland games boo Rangers players - narrow minded stupidity. Whether it's at an Ireland game or a match in Scotland, no player deserves to be booed simply because of his, or his club's, religious background. And please, I don't want to hear it from any Celtic fans that they boo Rangers players at Lansdowne Road because of inter-club rivalry. You know it's not and we know it's not. It's racist bigotry, simple as that.

    BTW. Stop bringing up the Lansdowne Booing, we had a long debate about that already. This has nothing to do with racism or rivalry but what I want to know is why he is getting booed.
