mailserver issues

Does anyone else have issues using host.ie mailserver - aravon.host.ie? - it seems at least once per month it is unavailable for one reason or another and is frequently down for 12 hours or more! Means I cannot get my mail - which is really inconvenient...

contact ppl who support the servers might be a good starting point ?

I have done that - but I get lame excuses about server being overloaded / excessive logging filled up disks etc...

It is possible they are upgrading services this time - I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but it just seems once per month is too often.
