the times for the events on eurosport might be a bit off due to gmt/cet differences and eurosports schedule isn't entirely accurate.

heres the official K1 website which explains what it is, it is usually very exciting and well worth watching.

i'm not sure what the one on channel 4 is about but the continuity announcer said it was about ultimate fighting.

There used to be a martial arts programme on BBC2 a few years ago.. It would be nice to see more competitive fighting on TV.. Once every four years for the olympics is just not good enough!

There was a very interesting series not that long ago about a few young martial artists from various MA backgrounds competing in various events, I can't remember what it was called though. It may be what you're talking about, Repli.

As far as I can remember, it was won by a karateka

    Thats True Repli.

Eurosport can be good at times though.
Keep an eye on the channel Listings.

And offcoarse post them here. :)

The K1 show that was on monday was listed as an event in melbourne but they actually showed the las vegas event which is supposed to be very good, unfortunatly i only got to see the last two rounds of the last fight as someone was hogging the tv >:(
The show that was listed for thursday wasn't shown but there is an event listed for monday.

There was a show on Discovery today called "Xtreme Martial Arts" or something, seemed alright, but the only bit I got to watch was a Chinese Broadsword fight.

every now and again the discovery channels run a martial arts programme called masters of Shaolin. its pretty cool and shows some of the cooler animal stance martial arts, but theres a lot of added sound effects :(
