Whats the reason for not allowing searches under four letters?

I cant search for CPU, RAM, DDR, ISP.... etc.

Those one are just me but im sure there are other ones aswell

It would give too many replies - imagine doing 1 letter searches. If you want to look for "CPU" enter "CPU*"

I tried searching for dlink 604+ and it wouldn't let me.

I take it that it assumed I was looking for 604 AND somehting else but even when I did: "dlink 604+" I didn't get it to work.

Turns out there was nothing to find anyway but I was in a real hurry this morning and thought it would've been on the boards.

I must try 604* next time I'm in the same situation.

Can you not search for a specific string by using quotions: "where am i?!"? :p
