Have a couple of pairs of predators, one for the summer, which have shorter blades for the hard ground and a pair for wet weather which have longer blades, the only problem I have ever had with them is playing on wet, just cut grass as it tends to get caught between the blades making it a tad slippy on rainy days or when the pitch has a bit of moisture on it. This has only happened in training as we never play on wet pitches which have just been cut and have grass lying all over them. Anyway everybody else had the same problem so it was not a fault of the blades, just boots in general.

Mouldies are good for very dry pitches and astroturf but not much else.

Note that if you plan on playing with a Junior team that some leagues are making noises about banning blades (There have been complaints about blades injurying other players).

Only get mouldies if you plan on playing on an all weather pitch.

Studs have the advantage that you can change them (long studs for winter, short studs for summer) but they are not anygood for an artificial surface.

Not entirely true now, you can buy small rubber studs that screw into your own boots now, I think it is Nike who make them.

Also Nike blades are now screw off and you can but short or long ones, I just wasn't too fond of the Nike boots.

    I think I'll prob go4 the blades

would screw in studds, even short ones not come thru on hard ground these days and give you blisters
