The Tumbleweed Hour at Boards

God this place goes quiet (albeit relatively) around one in the morning. Maybe I'm just not looking in the hardcore-nerd fora.

I think I might even become fond of boards at this hour of day- no shouting hormones, no flaming, a distinct lack of trolling, threads are not being unjustifiably locked (good or bad). Nobody puts up a thread titled 'What's your favourite x?', 'How many pairs of shoes do you have?', 'I can drink more tequila than you' or 'I wish my girlfriend was more of a slut, just like yours'

On the other hand, the good bits are also absent. But it would be unfair to name the individuals that give this place a good name, not because I would be reticent to give credit where due, but because it might be unfair to others with whose contribution I might be less familiar.

Ah, Boards at one in the morning, the tumbleweed hour.

mmm... the silence is bliss, isn't it...

this is usually the time i'm on boards anyway, i'm just home from work, actually, so i've just had time to have a cuppa tea, read the paper, and check my email, and of course, check boards. it's nice and quiet now, until wierdly about 3, when all the drunk people roll in from the pub, right?

......anyhoo, off to bed i go.....

oh, and by the way, i have five pairs of shoes (although two of those are boots...i don't know if that matters)

Oh to have my internet at home working, I am limited to the dead hours of 8.30 am to 4pm. I catch the lunch time peak, but I don't have the pleasure of strolling throught at 1am, quietly examining those out of the way forums. Hummm.....
