I got the English EPG on my Irish Card... well Briefly

    A funny thing happened to me the other day. I switched on my Digibox and my Irish EPG had been replaced with the English one. Well, as you can guess this was pretty exciting to me at first until, alas, I noticed that there was no ITV, CH4 or CH5 (basically it went BBC1 - 101, BBC2 - 102 then SKY1 - 106). So, I didn't gain any stations, in fact I only lost the Irish ones and just got English Sky ads etc... So I had no choice but to ring Sky to get it fixed. They said it never happened before and offered no explanation, but I'm just curious anyone ever seen anything like this before.

    Sometimes new cards.
    Or a faulty card after a mains failure

    well the card is working fine now, I was wondering if it was anything to do with the old FTV card I had.

    You probably just got the default EPG (Without the card) because your card wasn't in properly.

    Absolutely ! The same thing happened to me last week. The card just needed a little adjusting.
