Connect past a Firewall

I have just set up Alarm Zones free firewall software. Now I want to connect to the PC's it is set up on across the web. As the PC I'm connecting from does not have a fixed IP address is there anyway to tell the PC that the firewall is on that it is a "friendly" connection? Obviously I don't want to set up a range of IP's to infinity as thats a sure fire way of allowing me (and everyone else) in!

There doesn't seem anywhere you can put in a computer name as opposed to an IP address. Thought about using a Dynamic IP service but was wondering if that is needed.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks
