Just noticed on wwe.com, the bikini match and Zack Gowen being pushed down a flight of stairs by Brock Lesner, and in watching the majority (cant say all) of Smackdown on Saturday evening (late), there was no mention of the bikini match and didnt see the Zack incident. Also, I noticed that it finished 15 mins earlier, only a 105 min show.

Are Sky asking for lots of snips??

sky generally cut out the bits they dont like themselves. there was a program on about it one night interviewing the guy who does the cuts and his major complaint was having to sit through hours of "crappy WWE Wrestling" so there where the good bits have gone

I was under the impression that WWE do all the cuts for Sky's broadcasts, like the way they get "The Bottom Line" etc packaged. For instance, last week, when Kane and Shane were at the firey dumpster, before the climax, Mark Lloyd more or less left it at that. I'm sure it was mentioned here before....

As far as i know the wwe make two versions of the show, the family one and the uncut one, they can't show certain things before the watershed on sky, hence the lack of chair shots. Usually they leave em in for the late night smackdown showing but apparantly they left the zach gowan bit out for that aswell. The bikini match was shown in short form on the smackdown morning show, but that's what they got in the states too. The only major cut was the gowan bit, which wasn't surprising considering the complaints hey'd get for airing a one legged guy in a wheel chair getting pushed down the stairs.

as far as i know, wwe do a rough cut for sky. covering everything they say they dont want, then sky go through it again

    On a slightly related note.
I think it's something to do with the British (and i mean that in a non xenophobic sense).

It's the same for their DVD releases.
    Example Wrestlemania XIX:
    Shawn Michaels V Chris Jericho.
Granted, the live feed, Sky Sports 1 showed Jericho giving Shawn the one finger salute as he was headed towards the ring. The Silver Vision DVD has this edited (by doing a closeup on Jericho's face at the time it happens)

However, the WWF Home Video version of this retains that scene though.

Also Anyone else think that what the British Class as 15s, the Irish Film Censor Board sticks an 18's sticker on it. Sorry, but i'm kinda sick of our Country telling it's people what we can or can't watch when we're teenagers :P

    Sorry for ranting,
    Nero

In case anyones wondering, I watched the supposedly uncut version on sky sports 1 expecting the bikini match and Zach gowens push down the stairs.

Guess what nothing nada zilch, exact same broadcast as the early morning version.

And why oh why was the latino heat backlot brawl on this weeks smackdown cut as well.

Im getting completely pissed off with the constant cuts on wrestling programming of late, its getting ridiculous and its getting to point of being unwatchable
