MAME Wont Play My Roms

    i am putting my MAME roms into C:\unzipped\mame32v73b\roms and it wont recognise any of them except for Paperboy :confused: what's going on

    i have v0.73

    Have you done an audit ?
    Are they named correctly ?

    oh yeah, Paperboy is looking weird as well. it is like it has quadrupled on the screen

    Fire up MAME then file then audit all games.

    still no change. on the audit thing it says
    1 correct
    0 incorrect
    1 total

    it says nothing in the sample section

    If it says "0 incorrect", then I'm guessing you are looking at the wrong ROMs folder (I presume you have more than 1 ROM in there!). Check your folder settings......

    all roms are in the same folder.

    i got a few roms from a different website last night and they are working fine

    looks like the old roms you have are either wrong changed romsets or not mame roms.

    Just download them again.

    http://www.clrmame.com/ will cure what ails ya! I suspect that lla that is wrong is that your roms are no longer validly named for the current version of M.A.M.E. Download the clrmamepro program and an appropiate dat file and one can rebuild the roms from there.
