The "Boom Boom Room", a new venue located above Patrick Conways Pub, 70 Parnell St, Dublin 1, are hosting "The Microset Sessions " this Thursday September 11th. The Microset sessions are a selection of mini-gigs by todays rising acoustic acts and this the second installment in the Boom Boom Room follows in the great tradition of The Ruby Sessions etc. The line up on Thursday features "The Guggenheim Grotto" a very talented duo and Doyles veterans who also form a portion of the Acoustic Junction team who recently released an EP to great acclaim. More info can be found at www.guggenheimgrotto.com. Also on the night is "Paul McDonnell" an ex De Dannan member and one half of the duo Cellar Club. More info can be found at www.cellarclub.com. "Steve Duffy" is a seriously talented Singer/Guitarist formerly of "Love Pigs" who plays raw acoustic soul at its best! On the bill swell are "The Dickson Brothers", A Delta Blues Guitar Duo who are gaining a very respectable reputation around the City as purveyors of authentic delta blues stylings. They are headlining "The Cobblestone" in a couple of weeks so this is your chance to catch them first. Hosts for the evening will be "Nervous Rec" who certainly know how to have a good time! Doors 8:30PM. Admission is ONLY 3 Euro or 2 persons for 5 euro. Looking forward to seeing you there!
