I need to see this movie i bow down to Rob Zombie even just for the review and what i have heard from around the world and think that this must be the movie for this year even if we have had T3 and The Matrix reloaded.:p

    Allow me...

'House of 1000 Corpses' (Henceforth reffered to as 'HO1KC') is put simply, utter homage to all those horror movies of the 70's, from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, to The Hills Have Eyes, there's practically nothing that doesn't get a nod from this film. It concerns 4 young people who, while travelling, stop for gas at "Captain Spalding's" a place which incidentally has a 'Murder Ride' that sounds utterly irrisistable to the young 4... Even more irrisistable to them, is the idea of a murderer by the name of Dr. Satan, who mysteriously, was supposedly hung near their location! Spooky...

You dont need to know what happens next, as chances are, you probably do. It's cliched as hell, but quite honestly, that's what makes it fun, and gives it that retro feel. Almost as if a rampaging maniac burst onto the set of "That 70's Show" and had himself a some fun, then lunch.

If you're a fan of the likes of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, then seek this film out. I'm sure it'll hold a much more worthy candle up to the 'ole chainsaw, rather than the proposed remake. If you're not a fan however... steer clear.

    I enjoyed it loads.
I'm sure many others will too.
