Very funny the characteristics between Barry and Kramer from Seinfeld are unbelievable.:)

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Excellent! I was totally amazed after seeing the very first episode. I have never seen anything (part) produced by RTE of this dramatic quality. Have swallowed a lot of my ranting and raving about the license fee ever since. A few programmes like this per year and I'll happily cough up the fee

They should bring all the episodes out on DVD, maybe a nice boxed set at the end of the next series - I for one will buy it

but what about raymond of the crazy accent? does he not annoy ye? does not your skin creep whenever he opens his mouth? and what's the story with all of his laydeez looking the same so that you cannot tell them apart for love nor money?

His voice wrecks my head, everytime he opens his mouth I want to punch him in the face.

Only punch him in the face? Kick him in the gonads too. Especially becase he does those horrible myhome.ie radio ads.

He's a git and his pretentious, latte-swilling character is a serious blot on the programme.

They should kill him off, and the dim look-a-like geebags he goes out with, and do the programme a favour.

    Bring back Noel, the dog.

    Less jazz.

    That should do it.

Anyone else find the Bachelors Walk dublin unrealistic? I think it is one of the stylish series that RTE have produced. I do think its completely overratehd as a comedy though. Pleasant enough to watch but definitely not funny.

Pleasant enough to watch but definitely not funny.

I find that with Sex and the City, but I amn't as much of a fan of that.

This is why most Irish TV and Film get it so wrong. American TV is not very realistic and that is why their shows work so well. British TV tends to be overly British too. (We tend to be overly Irish, nothing in between.)

I mean being overly Irish is okay for shows like Fair City, The Family (Not that I would usually (ever) put either in a sencentance together). But you know what I mean.

We sometimes need show that aren't overtly Irish.
