weird netsource problems?

    For the sack of my sanity can someone relate with this so i know its not just me! . Since last night ive noticed that my connection is having a hard time viewing web sites. I can access only very few sites while all others only go as far as - web site found waiting for reply and opening page - buts thats it, my connection shows no activity there in.

    When i ping a site such as www.oceanfree.net i get request timed out messages, other sites that are inaccessable (www.gamespot.com) can ping with the odd request timed out messages, but never load.

    netfarces site always loads however and boards is 50/50 with the odd refesh is needed.

    What the hell is going on? I can ping and see netsource.ie but not oceanfree.net? Boards loads only half the time?

    I didnt change any settings in ages. Didnt do anything to Iexploer. I reinstalled my connection and checked the wires but it didnt help.

    What the **** have netfarce done to me now?! This is enough to drive me mad! :(:(:confused:

    It could be the crap packet loss, or maybe its just netsource trying to throttle you for viewing too many websites.

    I get the same and I'm not on Netsource. Not all sites respond to icmp requests.

    Esat BT filter ICMP to all their sites, this has been ongoing since a rather large DoS hit them a few years back.
