i didnt watch it yet, but hope that someone taped it in my house as per my instructions (wont be surprised if it isn't). the reason for my interest is because everything about the programme is actually taken from the game Rome: Total War which is due for release soon. it seems that this is the first time the games are taken as serious to constitute a program like this.

    anyone else watched it?

ah sure it's early days yet. I quite enjoyed it really but who knows maybe after a couple of episodes once the "wow isn't that cool" wears I'll start complaining about the ai aswell.
The idea probably was to copy the Big Blue computer thingy and programme the romans as they usually react but then again it's been a while since I played any wargames since AoE II so apologies if things have moved on from there ai wise;)

anywho it impressed me enough to watch it next week:D

I thought it was quite good - true, the graphics weren't perfect (the whole of Hannibles cavelry was so well trained that all the horses moved their tails at the same time!) but it was worth watching. Was that the first episode in the series?
No doubt RTE will copy it in 2 or 3 years time (Celebrity Time Commanders with Twink and Mick Lally - coming soon!)
