EITB + lidl satellite system

    Hi,

    I bought one of thouse Lidl analog satellite system that everyone was talking about in Tipp, there were tons of them there, and I have all the channels that it is supposed to received, however I can not get any of the spanish channels, I guess it is because those channels are digital?

    Anyway, I would be really interested in getting EITB http://www.eitb.com/english/ , it is the basque channel and these are the details as per their website

    Satélite ASTRA 1E
    Orientación 19.2º East
    Transponder 32
    Frecuencia 11.686 Mhz
    Polarización Vertical
    Symbol Rate 22.000 MSym/s
    FEC 5/6
    Service ID 30203
    Pid Video 163
    Pid Audio 92

    Could anybody please check this settings with a digital set up?

    I guess that if I buy a digital receiver I will still be able to use the dish and the LNB...

    BTW, you could see the spanish football live every saturday at around 21:30hrs plus a summary of all the games on the sunday... and you could learn basque at the same time...

    I don't think so. As far as I am aware a digital LNB is different from an analogue one.
    Perhaps some of the more learned regulars could confirm?

    Dish should be okay though.

    Am LNB is an LNB - it doesn't care if the signal it receives is analogue or digital. The LNB AFAIK that comes with the Lidi system will be grand with a digital receiver.

    i didnt get one myself, but i am sure that some else posted that the LNB was a universal LNB, so it should do the trick

    The LNB is fine.

    The Dish is fine.

    The coax is rubbish even for Analog.

    EITB doesn't spring to mind. I have all the FTA channels except the ones you don't want the kids to see stored on PC from 30W, 13E, 19E and 28E, so I might have missed it.

    If it is encrypted I will have deleted it. I'll try to check tonight.

    I get a lot of spanish on 30W, but mostly junk, I think all the decent spanish Station are encrypted (unlike Germany).
