Anyone know where I can get a 50mm * 50mm photo taken for my visa application (green card) in the city centre?

    Or even 45mm * 45mm?

I'm not sure how strict they are on the size but thats what they quote.

When I was in the US, I was in a position to take some photos for immigration purposes. The requirements are a lot stricter than the standard passport photos as we know it here. If the photo requirements are not precisely met, they will send back your application. Not sure if this applies for green card applicants, but apart from the size of the print you may need to also ensure that there is no hair covering your forehead or ears, that you are not wearing earrings, and that your head is turned slightly to one side (your left or to the right as the photo is viewed) so that all of the ear can be seen.

Why not try scanning in a photo and re-sizing it using Photoshop or a similar programme?

A standard passport photo will not do.

I recently took photo's for a friend, and printed them on an Epson photo printer.

I believe there's a chemist in Ballsbridge who does them, because when my friend was at the embassy, most people had the wrong photos, and were referred to a particular chemist. Maybe if you give them a call, they might tell you.

I dont have access to a decent photo printer so ill have to get it taken in a chemist. Ballsbridge is a bit out of the way. Anyone know of a chemist closer to the city centre that will take a 50*50mm or 45*45mm photo?

Thanks for the help thus far guys.
