I am a sixteen year old wierdo apparently. I play the guitar (bass and electric/acoustic), drums, piano/synthesiser...and the organ. Yes I play the church organ.
I get frequent odd looks of disbelief and even disrespect. Organ playing is meant o be for old hunchbacked introvert wierdo's, so what is a 16 year old nearly average Joe Bloggs doing in the same chategory as these people???

Tell me, am I really so wierd?

**** that, if anybody calls you a weirdo get them listen to The Who, The Doors or some of the cracking 70s bands who made a broad use of the organ

Wow, you lucky beggar playing the church organ. Ever since I got my first keyboard I have dreamt of playing a church organ, I would put my casio through effects and reverbs and pitch shifters to get that authentic sound but it never quite made me believe I was playing the real thing.

When I did music GCSE one of my music teachers (amazingly a midget hunchback - I kid you not) brought me to a small church in the centre of Athens to play an organ composition for my final practical exam. As luck would have it - we went into the church and there was a power cut so I couldn't play it. All that pent up excitement and I ended up walking home without playing it.

You aren't wierd, it doesn't matter what instrument you play - from banjo to balalaika , from accordian to zither its the enjoyment you gain from the instrument that is important.
