Jolt says there's gonna be a SP fer the console, and a MP fer the PC's. Sweet! The SP game is you + bots. Didn't bother with a story, just made the MP very good. These guys are making it.

Rise of the Machines is a terrible, terrible game by all accounts - even some of the people working on it admit that it's crap. That's not a good sign...
