channel 965 on sky

    :cool: does this mean that soon we will have channel4 and the other uktv channels listed in the 900's of the epg as part of our subscripton if so its about time sky got there act together and all the english channels on the irish epg or else more people will spread the rumour around that you can not recieve these channels through sky nd will switch back to cable in the town i live in anyway cause you can get most of those channels through chorus or ntl cable television.could someone find out if these are coming to ireland or not nd reply as soon as possible on this forum tanxs.

    First rule of News groups and Forums on Internet.

    LURK and read the existing posts / threads.

    For entire YEARS nothing else other than UTV/CH4 etc on Sky is discussed to death.


    Summary:
    * UTV want to be on Sky in Ireland, but Granada don't want them to be as they have big chunk of TV3

    * Ch4 no longer seem to know what they what.

    * By time "Five" becomes Sky's C3 (set to happen, Sky already part own it) and a Pay only Channel in UK, you may not want to watch it anyway.

    * UTV/ITV almost certinally will be "free" like BBC is now, maybe Next year.

    * Nobody really knows diddly anything about what will happen.

    SKY Customer Channel i just checked. What that has to do with UTV i dont know.

    when did that appear? we never had the customer channel between the radio and the porn.

    one more thing what has all this to do with Channel 4 and every other channel we don't have on our EPG :confused:

    The UK EPG always had Sky Customer Channel on 965, 966 and 967. It was alleged to keep the adult channels away from other services.

    There were all removed in July - but 965 is now back!
