I had a discusion with a friend of mine today about that old MilkyWay add with the Red car and the Blue car does anyone know the words coz we only know the start ;)

(He wants to play it on the guitar so if you have the chords too that would be super very odd but super)

The Red Car and the Blue Car had a race
All Red wants to do is stuff his face
    He eats everything he sees
    From trucks to prickly trees
But smart old Blue he chose the Milky Way
He's looking for a tasty treat, fluffy and light
'Cos he knows it won't spoil his appetite

Oh no, the bridge has gone
    Old Red can't carry on
But smart old Blue he chose the Milky Way

I dont have a guitar here at the moment but I'd imagine the main part could be played to a "Deliverance" style chorus of G and C, with a D and E or A thrown in there for a laugh.

I can't remember all the words, but I'm almost certain the second line was "The finish was a far off dining place." Maybe if you slotted that in with the other versions?

I believe Giblet has it, word for word. Congratulations. The fact that I know the Vogon Poem from HGTTG seems slightly less shameful now.:)

    Thy micturations are to me,
as flurdled gruntbugglies on a turgid(?) sea
    Groop I implore thee,
    ??????? ??????? ????????
    See if I don't.

    Can't remember any more

Thanks - for some inexplicable reason I've never managed to get around to reading them.
