OK, what with all the negative threads, it's time for some feel-goodness.

What gets you smiling?

For me it's finding a €20 in my room or in my Jeans that I haven't worn in weeks (before they hit the wash).

It's getting the bill and finding they missed something (and the hurried scuttle out the door before they realise),

It's people who take slip-ups and accidents with a 'silly me' attitude, not a 'stupid something else',

It's my dog who looks at me in that 'come out and give me a cuddle' way,

It's people who smile back

Sitting around with my friends from college, having a can (or even just a cup of tea), watching telly and talking for hours. You know those afternoons/evenings when there's nothing to do but everyone is in good form. Good times.

Watching a film that I've worked on come together into something better than I'd hoped for.

Meeting a friend unexpectedly in the pub or on the street.

Getting a call out of the blue from an old friend.

A good cup of coffee with a slice of cake.

my nephew is my main smile fodder at the mo, i'd never been able to stand little kids up to last year, when he started to develop a personality & sense of humour...
