Whoopsi daisy! Newcastle screwed up and are out! They lost on sudden death penos (shearer, Dyer and Woodgate missed in normal penos, Hughes missed in sudden death)after a 0-1 loss on the night. This is a disaster for Newcastle and will cost them millions, any chance of improving the side is gone with the champions league…

Welcome to the UEFA cup:D At least that's one team not developing a gap from Liverpool.

Good night for Scottish football, the CL is very important to Celtic and Rangers given the standard of their home league. So that's 5 british teams starting the group stages?
