Fantastic concert. Seeing Interpol live just reminds you how good this band is. They played all the songs off "Turn off the Bright Lights" plus two songs which are either new or not on that album, couldn't have asked for anything more. Support band Franz Ferdinand were pretty good, see a bit of a new-wave revitalisation arriving with their names on it.

I, on the other hand, thought they were boring sh*te. There's more to playing live than snazzy suits and striking poses. They should try connecting with their audience once in a while, and stop staring at the bloody ceiling.

    Arsebiscuits.

They played everything bar "The New"... great gig, no real improvisation, but the material is so tight its hard to do that I guess (although the drummer upped the tempo for Stella a good bit).. better than the last time I saw them, and a lot less makeup ;)

Franz Ferdinand were quite good.. real 80s beats from the drummer, some great tracks, some alright, but well impressed overall.

I enjoyed the gig... i was at the last one in Spirit when there was about 50 (?) people there. The village is a better place for the sound in my opinion.

One thing that bothers me about the village - when its full like it was last night, its really hard to see the stage. Has that been lowered since they did it up?

Oh yeah - found a 6 track EP by Interpol on Opal Music

Dont bother.. same tracks as on the album and one or two of the same from the black sessions.. not worth the money.
Heres hoping they get back in the studio soon.

I really connected with Interpol. As I saw Daniel staring at the ceiling with the lights shining down on him, it felt errie and special. I believe it was performance over connection, which I'm cool with anyway. Don't remember any posing going on. Oh well, sucks that you didn't enjoy the concert.

Yeah, I'm awaiting more material with anticipation
