As far as I know lyngsat is accurate as it collects data from enthusiasts and feed watchers. Chaeck out Eurobird too as it is in the same orbital position and can be received with the same dish pointed at 28 east.

    Good luck

I was in a Stuttgart department store last week and saw a Digital receiver with 2 CAM slots for €89.
I didnt buy it because I had already bought a FTA Echostar in March for £99.
No need to tell you I didnt feel too good after seeing it.
There are Digital Satellite bargains to be had all over Europe if you are travelling soon in that general direction. ;)

I'd go along with you Carrolls!!! bought a simple FTA box last week for the Da-in-law 115 E's. Take a trip via Leary Air to Brussels and visit Rue Brabant, on that street you'll find over 10 shops selling everything you ever wanted in satellite!!!

This is valueable info Greenman!..taking the old Leary Air service over that direction in about 6 weeks.

Tony: I'm not one to ignore the local guy so seeing as you cant advertise directly on boards, feel free to pm me details:D

Carrolls: not all that knowledgeable when it comes to sat systems...what do '2 CAM slots' get me exactly?

And one last question for you guys:
I'm now aware of a dual LNB for Astra/Eurobird....are there any other dual LNB's that can pick up a different combination of satellites??

A CAM is a Conditional Access Module that comes in the form of a card. Depending on your needs, you can get CONAX, IRDETO or VIACCESS modules. They decode digital MPEG broadcasts in the same way as a Sky card. Its the Continental way for broadcasters to obtain money for pay tv. Of course it is harder to police than Sky's method.

You can also get cams that can decode several formats such as the Irdeto 4.7 .
