Go to all the usual tattoo artists and get them to show you samples of their works.

Or get someone to design one for you and bring it to a tatoo artist. At which point may I offer my services as designer. You're in Cork? I'm not looking for a fee or anything. I'm starting out in design for other people and am hoping word of mouth will help.
