Did anyone see that film "Disappearance" on Network 2 tonight at 21.35? I thought it was a good film apart from the ending which didn't really give an explanation as to what was going on except whatever the individual thinks themselves. Did a search on google to try and get an explanation of the ending and what was going on the film but only got a couple of reviews or so.

yeah i saw that movie last night. Thought it was really good. i have two theories for the movie, both of which are probably wrong.

The first thing i thought was that maybe the whole family was murdered and they were replaced by aliens, cos remember that guy in the jail cell talked about a space ship landing in the area.

The other explanation could be that the family just couldnt get away from the town, everytime they tried to leave something would happen to prevent it, so in the end they just gave up and had to get used to living in the town.

Lol the second explanation is funny but interesting. I thought it was really funny when the guy in jail told them first about the atomic bomb or whatever type of bomb it was to explain the weird stuff going on, then about the indian burial ground and then about aliens, was a laugh.
