    New round signups opened today.
    Ticks start sept 10th
    Is free for 2 wks - once you pay you change gal's ... [start out with 200+ X coordinate .. and reduced to below 200, when pay].
    Paid + Free cannot interacct in anyway except through mail.

    New system looks nice .... fair few changes.

    New Skin/Colours
    Introduction of Engineers [Can change priority of engineers]
    New research/cons [dont seem to have to pay for them]
    Covert Ops
    Alliance Link [no AH]
    can join 1 ally - which gives you -1 eta to anyone in that alliance.
    Setup attacks/def from alliance link + are forums.

    Sorry about lack of info - theres no manual yet ... so just telling you what i've seen + guessed from so far.
