Just saw on Rte news there and it only showed all the nice kiddies who got 8a's and 1b.
Rte seem to be only showing the nice side of Ireland these days and not showing its dark underbelly.

    O man it's total grid-lock.

3 B's, 3 C's, 3 D's and one E. A girl from the local news paper was going to take my picture for the paper but first she asked me for my results. When I told her, she 'suddenly had to leave'. ***** frown.gif Heres looking forward to the Leaving and two years of most important exam of your life lectures from every one I know.

So the pope puts down the Badger and leans over to me and says , " My son , sometimes you talk a lot of ****. Knock it off." Before I could speak in walks Christopher Lloyd with a time machine under his arm and just then...it started to get weird...

I did my Junior Cert over 8 years ago and as I recall got all B's and C's in 11 honours subjects. Now if that doesn't show what a pile-o-sh|te test the JC is... wink.gif

    Ah, the Junior Cert...

It's a silly exam. The content is in no way similar to the Leaving Cert, but it's important to do it none the less. It lets you know what the LC is gonna be like in terms of what an exam hall looks like, how the examiners are etc.

I got 3B's, 3C's and 3D's in all higher level subjects. I can say that I did some study for it, but not a whole lot. I was very happy with my results. I didn't go out and get rat-@rsed (I didn't start drinking untill I was 18).

I wouldn't worry about it. Get the head down and get ready to rock and roll for the LC - cause once you get to college - nothing matters. You could get 10 A1s in the LC and a pass diploma in your chosen field of study at college and no employer will give a toss about them 10 A1s - just the reason you only got a pass diploma.

    All the best,

    Dav

Hahaha , what a complete waste of time. Got all these " this is an important exam series."
Never paid any attention and with good reason , it was **** simple and then i got the "well that was not really important , but it was important you thought it was important, ya dig?" lecture smile.gif

That was hmmmmm , 6 years ago , and all i can remember is one guy in our school managed to fail it and was laughed at till he left smile.gif
