    Caught last night @ 7:30ish on the canal outside Mullingar.. Nothing special just thought Id share.

    3 1/2 lb If youre interested. Average size I catch on this stretch is about 3lb

    Same spot on the 26th.. This one is slightly bigger, close to 5lb.

    Nice tench,where you behind the pewter centre??,i was there last month and caught 4 nice tench averaging around 4lb each.

    Not there.. a little closer to Dublin, before the dual carraigeway.

    You seem to know the Mullingar course fishing quite well... Between mention of the rarely fished swim (im told) behind the petwer place, and gaulmmoylestown... Hmmm..

    I do plan on trying that swim pretty soon.. gonna make a day out of it, maybe this weekend or next..
