I'm a 20 year old singer, not the best in the world but i can hold a tune and i've been in a few bands. I am desperately trying to get a band together to play a few pub gigs for a bit of money but mainly for the craic. I'm into a lot of different types of music, Lou Reed, Leonard Cohen, Moloko, The Hives, R.E.M, Thin Lizzie, Aretha Franklin, ABBA, Placebo, Michael Jackson, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, John Lee Hooker (I think theres something there for everyone!) Mainly looking to form a good rock covers band, something to get the masses singing and dancing on their barstools. Please only reply if you're serious about committing and rehearsing. Drop me an email if you're interested and fancy a jam!

Singer and female? Good enough for me. Where are ya based? I'm in a band at the moment and we're looking for a good strong singer. We're based in Dundalk.

I'm in Dublin but i actually do go to Dundalk a bit, I have family up there. How often would you be rehearsing?

Unfortunately, it's not that often. Hopefully when we get back to college, we'll have more time but at the moment it's only once every other week. There's 2 guitarists and a bassist at the moment and we're on the look out for a drummer. We play a lot of Metallica, Van Halen, Black Sabbath and any thing we think sounds cool.

Sounds good, it's always easier to get motivated when you're back in college. I have a fairly bass low tone kind of voice so male vocal songs usually suit me better. I'm open to anything you can play as long as I get a listen and some lyrics in front of me.

Ok cool, sounds good. I'll have a chat to the others and see what i said and I'll get back to ya. How often are you actually up in Dundalk. Are you in college or working? PM if you prefer.
