Suggestion: Another Mod for Film Forum!

Its all in the title. I think Draco is doing a great job as Mod of this forum, but it just struck me that he is doing it all alone. Perhaps we should consider adding a second mod.... take some of the work off ya too Draco.

I think the film board is lucky, in that it's visited by less morons than most other boards on here. The only mod'ing I can see that needs doing is the occasional joining of threads, and kicking of non-reviews out of reviews.

Is there a need for another mod?

I agree with Obey. Other than the odd attempt to sell pirated stuff here it's a forum that has little muppetry.

All the more reason to have a 2nd Mod, Draco does a good job (appart from banning me for nothing, but we will let that one go...) but he cannt be on the boards 24/7.

It makes sense to have somebody else to catch anything he might miss because he has a life and is in the pub one night, etc. A little bit of redundency never hurt. Also no matter how good a mod is a 2nd one helps to keep them level headed.

My sentiment exactly. Though Draco is doing a great job, a helping hand never goes stray. But again, its up to Draco, and indeed the Admin to decide.

i've never actually seen a post on films that would create the need to have the board under watch 24/7.
(that could be due to draco's skillz tho)
compared to aa & humour this place just doesn't warrent having 2+ mods

no need really. dont really see that amount of spam on the board.

unless of course draco wants another one. he does seem to be absent from the board alot.

Fine as it is, hardly brimming with traffic is it? Draco does a super job.

I think there is a decent enough amount of traffic.
I'd say it does more than the television board anyway and that has no modding at all.
It's not a board that attracts muppets. Draco doesnt need to be online all the time modding it.

That I have. To be honest there's not a huge amount of work in modding the board.

Sorry, But are you saying then Draco that you are in need of another Mod?

If you want a helping hand I'd be more that happy to assist, but keep in mind that this whole Modding thing would be new to me. Perhaps its a job for someone more experienced or at least in the know.

I'm a big film buff, see a movie about twice a week now, have even seen some of the movies here in Boston that aren't yet realised in Ireland, donno if that qualifies me to be Mod, but like I say I'm willing to help out.

Just shout Draco!!! Its truely your call.
