Buying a Powerbook in the states

Say I bought a powerbook in the states, would it work ok here? I know there is a different power voltage here - so what would I need to do to get it working in Ireland? A different power cable thing I presume? Where would I buy the appropriate cable and does anyone know if they're expensive.

Most laptop power supplies can work on either 110 or 240 without an adapter. Find a store selling powerbooks and check the power adapter. If its rated for both voltages you won't need any extra equipment.
