Today a lady came to our door from Esat Promoting their Internet Service, She lives only up the road and is a sales Rep for them, (i wont say where because sum of you will probably want to kill all the Reps with all the pain they caused you at the start) Anyway Broadband came up and she said that it will be here definatly in September because she has inquired about it and serveral others, so finally i will get broadband and leave this ****ty 42.2K forever.

i wouldn't bet on that. Origionally i was told i was gonna have NTL cable internet in may of 2001... i'm still waiting...

Believe it when it happens, not when a walking sales rep says it'll happen, they'll do anything to get a sale, or chance you'll hold out and buy later...

Dont believe a thing those Esat reps say.

I am in Carlow, over a year ago I had a rep at my door, with his forms and all trying to sign me up for their broadband service............Eircom only upgraded the Carlow exchange in the past week! and therfore that rep was a lieing sack of......

Yup. NTL and Eircom both completely recabled the street some time in 2001, told us we'd have broadband by the end of the year... NTL never appeared, and Eircom released a rape-you-in-the-ass-for-a-****ty-service product and made me go something something.

The reps don't even work for esat, all that door to door stuff is outsourced, so I wouldn't believe her, reps will lie to get a sale, they'd make bugger all cash if they weren't selling stacks of products every day. Ring Esat and get an answer off them before signing anything the rep gave you.

Reps are **** stains the only way you will get broadband is if you ring up and ask if your in an area were there is an enabled xchage.
