    I need something to record whatevers coming from the sound card... and no, I dont plan on holding my headphones next to the mic..

    I want to record a realmedia streaming file, downloading with DAP only gives me an 80b link.. anybody got any idea on what I can use?

    and apologies if this is in the wrong forum

    Streambox VCR is what you're looking for then. It downloads direct to hard disk, no having to fiddle with sound card progs.

    cheers for that,I downloaded it, but upon opening,it asks me to register an account...I entered all my details, but the connection times out, and I cant continue...
