    i just bought this on dvd and now while trying to play it in my pc i get dvd is copy protected is there anyway of just watching the movie on my pc cos i wanna take some snapshots of it.

    ****ing hell man, that's not on! If I had bought a DVD that wouldn't play on my PC, I'd complain untill I was blue in the face to the shop, and to the company, and however. I dont even own a TV, ever mind a DVD player. I watch everything on my PC.

    What you could do is rip the dvd files onto your hard drive with freeware such as dvd decrypter as this will automatically strip the copyright protection from the dvd , then watch it from there.

    why was it pointless ? it was entertainment just like any other television show , and when it came out it was one of the best things on tv...dont get me wrong i was never a big fan but wouldnt call it "pointless"
