    Hey lads

Does anyone know a cheap, online source for a PCMCIA bluetooth card for a laptop running windows xp? I've seen dongles for about £30 sterling online, but all the USB ports on my laptop are at the back, so I'm worried about snapping it off and damaging both laptop and dongle. PCMCIA would be much better. Is it cheap?

I had a quick sconse around cork but found nothing.

    Cheers

pc cards tend to be more expensive than USB

tdk would be the best IMHO, which ever one you go for most important is that you get one with a Widcomm based Bluetooth software for Windows

personally I don't buy any gear like that in Ireland - usualy get fleeced for that kind of kit in a local shop - i'd get it from the US or an online site like www.expansys.com or www.blueunplugged.com

only card that i've used that doesn't protrude from the pc card bay is from Socket (was Nokia) but that comes with horrible Digianswer based software - although nice to have the option to pop it into a pocket pc (it's a cf card + pc card adapter)
