What's the difference between a County Hospital, a District Hospital, and a General Hospital?

I see some hospitals listed on goldenpages.ie, and different hospitals are listed as being County, District & General.

The different names indicate the levels of specialities. Part of it may also be simple convention / preference. Don't worry, they'll take you to the right one.
