im just wondering exactly what is self install ? do they give u the tools to go out to the exchange and do it urself r is it just installing it on your pc

if its the later ill be doing that ..

For self install:

Take the tiny beige box they sent you out (the microfilter). Stick your phone line in one end, and the connection on the phone itself in the other. Installation complete.

If you have problems plugging things in boxes, you can pay an eircom engineer an extra €100 to come out and complete this process for you

the word "self install" are too complicated for what has to be done. its liek sticking a phone line into that little phone socket...its literally piss
