Star Ocean on Snes

Before I start, I'm not looking for where I can get the ROM.

Does anyone know if there is a Star Ocean ROM available on the net that is translated to english fully and if not then how far along is the partial translation (I can live without knowing the names of a few items and spells but would like the whole story).

Anyone know where I can get the translation patch and tools to patch it?

I remember the garbled graphics..the english speaking intro, despite the game having japanese text. Theres so much hype and work gone into this game, but I gota ask. Is it actually worth playing? :d

I've had it for a while now, just never got around to patching it and translating it. Is it anywhere near as good as Tales Of Phantasia?

I've had the gfx librarys and the patch for a while now, and it's pretty good, until you reach about 60% into the game, don't want to ruin it, but it ain't great after that.

I'll play it and beat it since I've got Star Ocean 2 and won't play that til I beat the first game.

So is the there a translation patch available that will translate the game 100% or even just the story and most of the items and spells.

The link i posted says the translation is complete so my guess is its as good as it gets:)
